Five members of a family were mysteriously found dead in a house in Tandlianwala

Five members of a family were found mysteriously dead at their home in Basti Jamo on Saturday, police said.

All five are women and their identities could not be established. The police were trying to find out the cause of their death. Among the deceased are the mother, her three daughters and a niece.

According to Tandlianwala SHO, they all fell ill after eating the poisonous thing, adding that they went to a nearby clinic for medicine for stomach pain.

He suspected that their deaths were the result of eating some poisonous food, stressing that nothing could be said before a full investigation. The dead bodies were taken to the hospital for autopsy.
