On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Safe City provides free Wi-Fi service for the convenience of citizens in need. In case of emergency, citizens can contact the police and their loved ones via Wi-Fi.

According to the spokesperson, the free Wi-Fi emergency service is not for video streaming or entertainment, this service is for emergency use only, it can also be used to download various applications.
According to the Safe Cities spokesperson, the free Wi-Fi service can also be used to book a taxi ride.
