Hollywood actor Bernard Hill, best known for his roles in Titanic and The Lord of the Rings, has died at the age of 79.
Hollywood actor Bernard Hill, who played Captain Edward Smith in Titanic and King Theoden in Lord of the Rings, died on Sunday, according to Britain’s BBC, confirmed by his agent Luke Colson.

In her condolence message on the social network X, Scottish musician Barbara Dixon said that Bernard was a truly amazing actor, it was an honor to work with him.
The actor was also known for his role as Usher Hughes in Alan Blaisdell’s seminal British drama Boys from the Black Stuff. Bernard Hill is the only Hollywood actor to have won 11 Oscars.
