Match against Japan tied, Pakistan still undefeated

The match between Pakistan and Japan at the ongoing 30th Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup in Malaysia ended in a 1-1 draw after a tense encounter. Pakistan scored a penalty corner in the last minute of the fourth quarter to tie the game.

In their third match of the ongoing Azlan Shah Hockey Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia, Pakistan faced a one-goal deficit until the 59th minute of the match, which was scored in the 33rd minute by Ken Naga Yoshi.

For Pakistan, Rana Waheed Ashraf scored from a penalty corner in the final minute of the match to end Japan’s lead and level the match at 1-1.

Teams Pakistan and Japan have 7 and 7 points respectively, but due to better goal average, Pakistan is first and Japan is second.

Pakistan will play the fourth match of their pool against Canada tomorrow at 1 PM Pakistan time.
