After his arrival in Multan, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to the Nadra Center located at Kachhari Chowk and took stock of the problems faced by the public there and announced that the office will be open round the clock for the convenience of the public.
The Home Minister noted that there are queues of citizens at the NADRA office to obtain identity cards and other documents. The air conditioners are turned off. Citizens said that waiting and delay is normal in this NADRA office.
Chief among the complaints of citizens was that they had to wait for 4 to 5 hours at the NADRA office to get the token.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who immediately took cognizance of the citizens’ complaints, ordered the Kachhari Chowk Nadra office in Multan to be kept open 24 hours a day. He also ordered to shift the busy NADRA center from the existing building at Kachhari Chowk to a better location to provide quality facilities to the citizens.
A citizen present at the NADRA center while talking to the Federal Home Minister said that I have come to do the B form. 4 hours have passed. The citizens said that there are many hopes for you, may Allah protect you. You’ve done it before and you’re still doing it.
