New proposals have been made to make the matches of the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) more interesting.
At today’s PSL meeting, various proposals for playing conditions were considered.
Sources said that on the occasion of the draw, it was proposed to give both the teams two team sheets. After the result of the draw, the teams can choose any of them as the final eleven. The purpose of the design is to minimize the loss of the roll.
Similar to Big Bash, PSL is also considering Power Surge.
In Power Surge, teams can use two power plays from the eleventh to the end.
According to sources, only two fielders will be out of the circle during the two overs. In the event of overtime, the initial power plays will be four power plays.
Sources said that the PSL management is not in favor of X factor or influence players in the league.
Sources said the proposed playing conditions would be further considered at the next meeting. The PSL management also sought feedback from the franchise to make the matches more interesting.
