Orthodox Christians around the world celebrate Easter today.
The main ceremony was held in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, attended by Patriarch Kirill.
Russian President Vladimir Putin was also present at the prayer ceremony.
According to the Christian faith, Easter is the day of Jesus’ resurrection. And it is the biggest holiday of Orthodox Christians.
On this occasion, guests will be treated to Easter cakes and colorful eggs.
