Pakistan is expected to receive $8 billion from the World Bank through the country partnership policy framework, which has several major priority areas, according to finance ministry officials, and this CPS may cover the years 2025 to 2029. The policy framework and actual date of the CPS have not yet been decided in as part of the negotiations from fiscal year 2022 to 2026, as much time was spent on elections and forming a new government. Now that the newly elected government has come in, it is negotiating with an international organization for a new CPS so that a 4-5 year CPS will be available in the next few months mostly for 4-5 years It will focus on priority areas and discussions are underway to finalize the framework for the main areas funding for the next 5 years.
