Prospective players of Pakistan team camped in Karachi

Prospective players of Pakistan’s Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament team have started their camp in Karachi.

Head coach Ayaz Mehmood says that 35 players reported on the first day of the camp, more players will report by the evening.

The first training session of the players started at six in the morning and lasted for three and a half hours during which coach Rihan Butt and Mohammad Saqlain trained the players.

On the other hand, tournament organizing secretary Azlan Shah contacted PHF secretary Haider Hussain and sent the Pakistan team’s practice schedule to PHF.

The Pakistan team will leave for Malaysia on May 2, while the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup will begin on May 4.

The Pakistan team will have their first training session in Ipoh, Malaysia on May 2 at 9:00 PM.
