Refusal to negotiate on chicken price in Punjab

Poultry farm owners and traders in Punjab have refused to negotiate with the district administration on the price of chicken.

According to sources, poultry farm owners have refused to provide details of chickens, while the district administration has failed to bring down the price of chickens.

Sources say chicken is being sold at a high price in Lahore, contrary to the official prices.

The price of pure chicken is charged more than 800 rupees per kg.

According to sources, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued orders to reduce chicken prices.
