PTI leader Asad Qaiser contacted JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman over phone in which both the leaders wished each other Eid.
Both leaders also discussed the political situation and the process of forming the government after the elections.
In the discussion, regular strengthening of contacts between JUI and PTI was agreed, with both sides rejecting the current government formation process.

He said that it is clear as day that the public mandate has been undermined, an organized fight against the process of undermining the public mandate is the need of the hour.
He further said that a common struggle must be done on the platform of Tehreek Tahafuz Pakistan for public sovereignty and constitutional supremacy.
