Telephone contact between the Prime Minister and the President of the Emirates

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and praised him for handling the situation caused by the recent rains.

The Prime Minister told UAE President Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan that heavy rains have also occurred in Pakistan in the last few days in which many precious lives have been lost.

Shahbaz Sharif highlighted joint measures to tackle the issue of climate change and said that both countries should strengthen cooperation in this area.

The President of the United Arab Emirates appreciated the Prime Minister’s wish, both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation in multilateral areas.
