The dog of former Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman Nurul Amin Mengal was found to have fallen prey to a leopard.

According to sources, the then Chairman Nurul Amin Mengal along with his family used to stay at the CDA Rest House at the foothills of Margalla Hills. He woke up in the morning and found that his dog was missing.

Sources say that the dog was the most expensive dog of the husky breed, after investigation it was found that the dog was hunted by a leopard.

Smoking and fires are prohibited in Margalla Hills

In this regard, the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board has imposed a ban on walking dogs on footpaths in Margalla Hills following the incident.

The council ordered that hikers avoid taking dogs on the trails. If you take a dog with you, there is a fear of a leopard attack.
