Prince Badrban Abdul Mohsen was born on April 2, 1949 in Riyadh. He was the second son of Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

The most played national song on the national day of Saudi Arabia is “Fuq Ham Al-Sahab” (Higher than the clouds) sung by Muhammad Abdah in 1989. Its lyrics were written by the famous poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen.
