Web Desk: A high-level delegation of Saudi Arabia has arrived in Pakistan for talks on investment in Pakistan.
A high-level delegation of investors led by Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Investment Minister arrived in Pakistan today and was warmly welcomed by Federal Ministers Mossadegh Malik and Jam Kamal at Islamabad Airport.
On the instructions of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the dignitaries of the delegation will review new opportunities for trade and investment in Pakistan upon arrival in Pakistan.
There will be an exchange of trade delegations in various areas with the aim of promoting trade relations between the two countries.
The Saudi trade delegation includes representatives of 30 companies from various industries, the delegation is related to technology, energy, aviation, construction, mining and human resources.
On this occasion, agreements related to PIA and Bhasha Dam, IT, Energy, Food, Chemicals, Meat, Mining will be finalized while investment agreements in joint projects of agriculture, industry and commerce etc. will also be finalized.
Government sources say that during this visit, Saudi Arabia is likely to sign investment agreements and MoUs worth up to $10 billion in Pakistan.
According to the sources, the Saudi delegation will discuss the expected investment opportunities in Pakistan, the delegation will return and give a briefing to the Saudi ruler Muhammad bin Salman regarding the visit and investments.
