Florida: In America, police raided the wrong house and shot dead a black man who turned out to be a US Air Force officer.

According to US media, a police response team in the state of Florida knocked on a house that a black Air Force officer in the house thought was a robbery attack and drew his official pistol.

When the policemen saw a black man coming out of the house with a gun, they fired indiscriminately without any thought or warning. The mentioned person received 6 bullets and collapsed there.

He was later identified as Roger Fortson, a US Air Force officer. The family demanded a transparent investigation from the government.

On the other hand, the identity of the black US Air Force officer who fired has not been revealed and he has been placed on extended leave.

Police say the officer fired in self-defense after seeing a gun in Roger Fartson’s hand.

Keep in mind that racist and discriminatory treatment of blacks by the police in America is common. The police consider every black person a criminal, that’s why these incidents continue to happen.
