Based on the results of a new study, medical experts have concluded that e-cigarettes (vaping) can endanger heart health.

America was hit by an outbreak in the summer of 2019, with US health officials claiming 68 deaths and more than 2,800 hospitalizations during the outbreak.

According to ‘Science Alert’, the most common and likely cause of the outbreak was lung and heart muscle disease found in some ‘vapes’ ie KE cigarettes.

According to Science Alert, people have complained of coughing and breathing problems due to this outbreak.

Five years after the outbreak, a large, long-term study found that e-cigarette use is associated with an increased risk of heart attack, stroke and respiratory disease.

According to a report presented last week at the American College of Cardiology’s annual scientific meeting, assumptions about vaping have now been strengthened by new research findings.

Researchers found that e-cigarette users age 18 and older had a 19 percent higher risk of heart disease than non-cigarette users.

Vaping addictions include heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest, progressive weakening of the heart or hardening of the muscles, all of which make it harder for the heart to pump blood throughout the body

While several studies on e-cigarettes have linked vaping to harmful effects on the heart, experts say vaping is not as safe as first thought.
