West Bengal Zoo will replace “Akbar” with “Suroj” for the tiger and “Sita” with “Tanya” for the tigress!

The employee of the forest department informed that we have sent the names to the central office of the zoo. Now it’s up to them whether they keep that name or give them a digital name. If the name is confirmed, it will be entered into the record. It was also informed that if a child is born to the couple in the future, their name will be listed as Suraj and Tanya as the parents.
