Details of which portfolios have been allotted to the new ministers joining the Sindh Cabinet have been revealed.
According to details, sources said that Shahid Salam Thiem will be given the portfolio of the Ministry of Labor and Jam Ikram will be given the portfolio of the Ministry of Industries, Muhammad Ali Maljani will be given the portfolio of University and Board of Trustees.
Sources said that Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman will be given rehabilitation and Shahina Sher will be given the portfolio of women development. Dost Ali Rahman will be given the environment portfolio and Tariq Talpur will be given the social welfare portfolio.
It should be noted that according to earlier reports, the Sindh People’s Party government has decided to further expand the provincial cabinet and there has been an opportunity to swear in 8 more ministers.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Governor House, while Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori will administer the oath to the new ministers.
Currently, the provincial cabinet has 9 ministers and three advisers. After the newly elected ministers, the strength of the department will be around 17.
