KARACHI: In the interbank market, the rupee continued to depreciate against the dollar on Friday, with the dollar remaining unchanged at 279 rupees 69 paise in the open currency market due to lack of money at the rate of 278 18 paise and later increased to 278 rupees 50 paise But due to improved supply the dollar interbank rate eased 10 paise to 278 rupees 38 paise in late trade the open currency market remained steady at 279 rupees 69 paise The bullish trend came to a halt on Friday on positive economic indicators and expectations of fresh inflows in the coming days.
