Jhelum Valley Road in Muzaffarabad has been closed due to landslides.
According to reports from Muzaffarabad, a landslide was triggered suddenly on Jhelum Valley Road during light rain in Sabari due to which the road was closed for traffic.
The Azad Kashmir Road Department has advised travelers in the area to use alternative transport routes for Garhi Dupta, Hatian Bala and Chakothi.
Heavy machinery was brought to the site of the landslide to remove the debris from the blocked stretch of road on Jhelum Valley Road.
Intermittent rain continues in Muzaffarabad, surrounding areas, Jhelum Valley and Neelum Valley.
