The production of the main industries recorded a decrease of 4.14% in February compared to January of this year.
According to the document, the output of major industries was recorded at 126.01 percent in February, while the production index rate in January was 131.45 percent.
The output of the main industries registered a year-on-year growth of 0.06 percent with a productivity index of 125.93 in February last year, according to an official document.
From July 2023 to February 2024, the productivity index rate was 117.99 percent, while in the same period last year, the rate was 118.359 percent.
In February, automobile production recorded year-on-year growth of 24.85 percent.
Automobile production recorded a 40.74 percent decrease in July-February.
Sugar production fell by 1.37% in February, while July-February rose by 3.08%.
According to the document, there was an 8.17% decrease in the production of cotton fabrics from July to February, while a 16.85% decrease in the production of petroleum products was recorded in February.
Fertilizer production increased by 33.14 percent in February, while cement production saw a sharp decline of 27.61 percent.
