A 76-year heat wave record was broken in Bangladesh

Dhaka (Daily Pakistan Online) 76-year heat record in Bangladesh has been broken.

According to Bangladeshi media, educational institutions and madrasas have been closed this week due to extreme heat. Despite the serious heat warning issued by the Meteorological Office, the Ministry of Education announced the opening of educational institutions from Monday.

Bangladesh’s Ministry of Education says there will be no student assembly at educational institutions due to the heat wave.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department says the extreme heat wave is likely to continue for several more days. During the past week, Dhaka recorded an average maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius.
