Officials of the Pakistan team met the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, in Islamabad.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he had a discussion with Pakistan team officials about Pakistan’s series in New Zealand.
Captain Babar Azam, head coach Azhar Mehmood and senior manager and selector Wahab Riaz were among those who met.
On the occasion, team officials briefed Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in detail about the planning of the series.
Mohsin Naqvi asked the team officials not to take New Zealand as an easy opponent and wished them success in the home series.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he is confident that the Pakistan team will perform well.
It may be recalled that the first T20 International match of the 5-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand is being played on April 18 in Rawalpindi.
