Boston Marathon won by Ethiopian ‘Sesay Lemna’

Sisay Lemma from Ethiopia won the 128th marathon in Boston, USA.

Defending champion Evans Chebet of Kenya was defeated.

In the historic marathon, the Ethiopian runner Sesay covered the prescribed distance in two hours, six minutes and 17 seconds, Mohamed Isa from Ethiopia finished second in the event.

Defending Boston Marathon champion Evans Chebet from Kenya finished third. About 30,000 runners, including 10 from Pakistan, participated in this historic marathon.

Hamza Syed of Pakistani origin completed the marathon in 2 hours 45 minutes 21 seconds, Sadiq Shah in 2 hours 57 minutes 5 seconds and Faisal Shafi in 3 hours 16 minutes 50 seconds.

Pakistani Faisal Shafi became a six-star finisher of the Boston Marathon.
