Karachi, heat intensity in March is similar to May, mercury likely to rise to 35 degrees

In March, Karachi experienced a level of sunshine intensity typically associated with May, indicating a likelihood of rising temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius.

As per the forecast from the meteorological department, Karachi, the city of lights, is expected to witness a gradual increase in temperature starting from today. Dry and hot weather conditions are anticipated to prevail over the next 24 hours.

A weather analyst suggests that temperatures may see a slight uptick in the plains of Sindh from today until Wednesday. In Karachi, temperatures are projected to reach between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius across various areas.

While most areas experience dry weather, isolated regions may receive rainfall.

The minimum recorded temperature in Karachi stands at 18.5 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 38%. Eastward winds are blowing at a speed of 6 km per hour.

The meteorological department highlights that central and eastern parts of Sindh are expected to experience temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay cool and hydrated amid the rising temperatures.
