Irfan Malik: In-laws killed mother-in-law in a trap for not paying 10 million euros.
The police are registering a case of manslaughter. After the 30-year-old woman Sahar Bano was killed, the in-laws called the murder a suicide. A case was registered on the complaint of Umair Ali, the brother of deceased woman Sahar Bano.
Sahar Bano got married to a young man named Asif in Taj Bagh a year ago. Asif and his father Abdul Rashid asked Sahar Bano to bring 10 lakhs from Makkah.
Sahar was also previously subjected to torture for non-payment of money. The police handed over the body to the heirs after the autopsy.
Police action
SP Cant Owais Shafique immediately drew attention to the incident of strangulation of bride Sahar Bano and directed Ghaziabad police to take immediate action. The police arrested Asif and Abdul Rashid, the main suspects in the murder, and remanded them in custody.
