City 42: Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Sunni Ittehad Council were heard, the Election Commission accepted the inclusion of independent members of the National Assembly in the Sunni Ittehad Council, the Election Commission informed the National Assembly Secretariat of the party’s official position.
An Election Commission document said 82 independent members of the National Assembly joined the Sunni Ittehad Council, including 49 members from Punjab and 33 members from Khair-Pakhtunkhwa, the second largest party.
The document states that PML-G has 120 members, PPP has 71 members, 7 members are independents in the National Assembly, MQM has 21 members, JUI has 11 members, QL has five members K4, MWM, PK MAP, BNP has one PML-Z, BAP, and the National Party each have one member.
It should be recalled that the Secretariat of the National Assembly asked the Electoral Commission for the party’s latest position. On December 22, the Election Commission declared PTI’s intra-party election invalid and took away the election symbol.
