Town 42: 9 laborers were brutally killed by being taken from a carriage from Quetta to Taftan in Nushki area of Baluchistan and taken to a nearby hill.
Armed men also shot at another vehicle and two passengers sitting in this vehicle were killed.
5 people including JUI Balochistan Assembly member Ghulam Dastgir Badini from Nushki were injured in this terrorism.
The bodies of the 9 kidnapped passengers were found under a bridge near a nearby hill. The bodies were shifted to Quetta. The dead bodies will be sent to Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala and Wazirabad, the native areas of the slain workers.
Taftan road was blocked by more than twelve terrorists
Nushki Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Musikhel said, “More than 12 unidentified persons blocked the National Highway at Sultan Chaldai hilly place on Quetta Nushki Taftan N40 highway, about one kilometer from Nushki, on Friday evening.” After blocking the highway, armed men began searching vehicles and opened fire on a vehicle that did not stop.
Deputy Commissioner K Nushki said this vehicle was driven by the brother of JUI Balochistan Assembly member Ghulam Dastgir Badini from Nushki. “As a result of the firing, the vehicle overturned due to a burst tire, killing a relative of the MPA and injuring four others.”
Nushki Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Musa Khel said that the armed men also stopped a passenger bus going from Quetta to Taftan. The armed men saw the identity cards of the passengers in the bus and kidnapped eight passengers with a Punjab address and fled to the nearby mountains.
One of the injured died in hospital
SHO Nushki Asad Mengal said “the person injured in the overturning of the vehicle and the firing later died in the hospital”.
A motorcyclist was also injured when the attackers shot.
The bodies of nine workers were found under the bridge on Taftan Road
According to SHO Nushki Asad Mengal, “Later, the bodies of all the 9 abducted passengers were found under a bridge some distance away and they were shot dead.” According to MS Dr. Zafar Mengala of Nushki University Hospital “the victims were shot in different parts of the body”. “Police, FC and other security forces have launched a search operation in the area to find the accused.”
