The Prime Minister welcomes the resolution of the UN Security Council on the cease-fire in Gaza

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the UN Security Council resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza and called on the international community to ensure its implementation. He emphasized the need to halt the ongoing Zionist oppression of innocent Palestinians in Gaza permanently.

Expressing concern over the loss of lives, especially among women and children, due to Israel’s attacks, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the deliberate targeting of hospitals and refugee camps in Gaza by Israeli forces.

He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to assisting Palestinian brothers and sisters in establishing a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders.
