Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has unveiled plans to introduce new buses in Karachi following the Eid festivities, bringing welcome relief to commuters in the bustling metropolis.

In a press conference held in Karachi, Provincial Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon shared this uplifting news with the residents of Karachi. He affirmed that post-Eid, a fleet of new buses will commence operations on various routes across the city, alongside an expansion of the Pink Bus Service.

Memon highlighted the commitment of the Sindh government in fulfilling its responsibilities towards the public, acknowledging that certain projects had faced delays during the interim government’s tenure.

Emphasizing the significance of transport infrastructure, Memon revealed that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and President Asif Zardari had issued directives to prioritize improvements in this sector.

Furthermore, Memon elaborated on the ongoing efforts to enhance public transportation options, mentioning the introduction of green buses and the forthcoming deployment of electric buses. Notably, two new electric bus routes are scheduled to commence post-Eid.

In addition to these developments, Memon announced plans to introduce public service buses in Mirpurkhas, underscoring the government’s commitment to extending improved transportation services beyond the confines of Karachi.
