In the second T20I, Pakistan beat New Zealand by 7 wickets.

New Zealand set Pakistan a target of 91 runs to win, which Pakistan easily achieved in the 13th over.

Mohammad Rizwan played an unbeaten innings of 45 runs, Irfan Khan was not out as he scored 18 runs. Captain Babar Azam was out for 14, Usman Khan for 7 and Saeem Ayub for 4.

Ben Lister, Michael Bracewell and Ash Sodhi took one wicket each for the visiting team.

In the second T20I to be played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first, which proved to be quite correct.

The New Zealand team failed against a strong Pakistani bowling attack and was bowled out for 90 runs in 18.1 overs.

Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed 3 players while Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each.

Mark Chapman was New Zealand’s top scorer with 19 goals.

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was named man of the match for taking three wickets.

All the matches of the series are telecast live on Pakistan’s first sports channel Geo Super.

National team captain Babar Azam said on the occasion of the draw that there is no change in our team.

Kiwi captain Michael Bracewell said the pitch looks dry at the moment, maybe dew later.

It should be remembered that only two balls could be bowled in the first T20 due to rain in Rawalpindi.
