When will Eid al-Adha be? A possible date appeared

The likely date of Eid-ul-Azha this year has been revealed.

According to Arab media, a statement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the National Astronomical Institute in Egypt said that the 1st Dhul-Hijjah will be held on Friday, June 7.

The statement said that the new moon in the month of Dhul-Hajj 1445 AH will remain in the sky in Makkah for 11 minutes and in Cairo for 18 minutes after sunset.

According to the statement issued, Waqf Arafa will be on June 15 and Eid al-Adha on June 16, but the final position can only be established after the announcement of Eid al-Adha moon sighting by Saudi Arabia.
