In response to the growing concern over kite flying activities in the Cantt division, the police have heightened their vigilance and intensified operations to control the issue. SP Cantt Owais Shafiq has revealed that special teams have been deployed to monitor and crack down on kite flying activities. SDPO and SHO have been instructed to regularly check and alert anti-kite flying teams, emphasizing the strict prohibition of kite flying under any circumstances.

SP Cantt has issued orders for anti-kite teams to maintain high alertness during dawn and iftar times. Patrolling vehicles have been tasked with informing citizens about the prohibition on kite flying, urging the public to cooperate with law enforcement to curb this activity. Additionally, SP Cantt has emphasized taking action against manufacturers of metal strings and kites to address the root cause of the issue.

The police’s proactive measures underscore their commitment to ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order in the Cantt division. With the collaborative efforts of law enforcement and the community, it is hoped that kite flying incidents can be effectively minimized.
